Overview
FORM-AK was established by Alan
Knowles [profile]
in 1992, offering advice, training and technology transfer in
new environmentally friendly formulations, surfactants, adjuvants
and related bioscience technologies for crop protection products,
after over 20 years experience with a major multinational agrochemical
company.
Affiliations
FORM-AK is a member of the business
network, AMBIC UK. Through this network we can provide a full
advisory service on all agrochemical product development technology,
including formulation, packaging, registration and technology
transfer.
History
Since 1992 FORM-AK has been continuously
involved with formulation development, training and technology
transfer assignments for a number of well known agrochemical and
biopesticide companies, and formulation adjuvants and additives
supplier companies in the UK and world wide.
In addition, we have done considerable work for international
UN agencies in developing countries including consultancy to United
Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in China,
India and Ethiopia, and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
in South Korea.

equipment for new generation, environmentally friendly formulation
technologies, especially the trends towards water based suspensions
and emulsions, water dispersible granules, controlled release
