Extended Services:

FORM-AK has extended its services to crop protection by linking with Nantong Pesticide Formulation Development Centre (NPFC) at Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China. Through this partnership we are able to offer clients the following facilities for agrochemical formulation development:

Laboratory formulation development and analysis using state-of the-art equipment in a new United Nations facility for environment friendly formulations: -

• Suspensions concentrates (SC)
• Oil-in-water emulsions (EW)
• Microemulsions (ME)
• Microcapsules (CS)
• Flowable seed treatment formulations (FS)
• Water dispersible granules (WG) by extrusion or fluid bed granulation technology

Scale up of the above formulation types in a new Pilot Plant facility with a capacity of 1,000 litres or 1 tonne per batch/shift

All equipment is housed in a new laboratory at the Nantong Pesticide Formulation Development Centre in Nantong City and a new Pilot Plant building, which is situated nearby (NPFC's promotional booklet is available on request - [click here]).

Additonal Information on the NPFC facilities:

The new laboratory and pilot plant were completed in 1998 and are widely regarded as the best and most modern formulation development facilities in China.

All operations are carried out to international standards and the staff are fully trained in formulation technology and analytical procedures. A bio-assay and toxicology testing service in China can be arranged.

A range of surfactants is also available for suspension/emulsion formulations and as adjuvant wetters for bio-enhancement.
